Does it work with my KNX installation?

It connects over KNXnet/IP routing: the app joins the routing multicast group (224.0.23.12) and speaks the bus protocol itself. You only need a KNXnet/IP router - or a KNX IP interface configured for routing - on your network, plus the group addresses for the devices you want to control. No separate hub, bridge or gateway app.

Can I control my building when I’m away from home?

The app talks to your bus over your local network, so it works whenever your iPhone is on that network. For remote access, use your own VPN back into the home network - the app never routes your home through a cloud service.

Does my home’s data leave the house?

No. The app talks directly to your building’s own network. There’s no cloud service in the middle and no telemetry, so none of your home’s activity leaves the house. See the privacy page for the full detail.

Does the Apple Watch app work on its own?

No - the Watch app sends its commands through your iPhone, which passes them on to the bus. Keep your iPhone nearby and connected to your home network. Your favorite controls sync over from the iPhone automatically.

Do I need an account or a subscription?

No. There’s no account to create and no subscription - it’s a one-time purchase on the App Store, with no per-device fees.
